FilmStruck, a Streaming Service for Classic Films, Is Now Available
Earlier this year, the classic film group was pulled from Hulu because Criterion partnered with Turner Classic Movies to create their own streaming subscription service, FilmStruck . Today the service is finally working.
If you want to watch critically acclaimed films, cult classics and hard-to-find films on your computer, portable devices, or Internet-connected TVs, you can now subscribe to one of two levels of service. The basic package costs $ 6.99 a month and offers a carefully curated library of classic movies that are updated regularly, along with some rare footage and special features. The $ 10.99 per month tier gets you everything in the basic package, plus you have access to the Criterion Channel and many of its other films without clippings or ads.
If you know you’ll do your best, FilmStruck also offers a $ 99 a year plan that will save you money in the long run. If you’re unsure if this service is worth it for you, they currently offer a free 14-day trial so you can find out. You can register using the link below.
