Microsoft is replacing the notorious blue screen of death with a shade of green. A recent preview build retains the newer BSOD that Microsoft implemented in Windows 8 (with a sad emoji), but surprisingly it’s no longer blue. What a brave new world. About this and much more in the news.
- Beta testers recently noticed a preview change that was leaked earlier , following a few humorous tweets from developer Microsoft . But this shade of green will not be available to anyone; only Windows Insiders testing pre-release software will be able to bask in the emerald light as their computers crash.
