Juice Gives Your MacBook a Custom Battery Life Indicator
Mac: Apple may have pulled the battery gauge out of the MacBook, but there are plenty of third-party ways to get it back . If you’re looking for something more fun than just a number, Juice lets you set your own custom icons for different battery levels.
Instead of the boring old percentage indicator, Juice shows emoticons, some ASCII images, a line of text, or a few other options. You can edit these options for pretty much anything you want by editing a single plist file, which means you can change what appears on the menu bar for each percentage of battery life to whatever you want. It sounds complicated, but it’s actually quite easy to edit to create your own indicator. However, Juice has some fun options, even if you don’t want to create your own.
