Make Safe Raw Graham Cracker Cookie Dough
If you, like me, are an avid fan of raw cookie dough, you were probably very upset to hear about the tragic flour recall this year . (Thank you, 2016.) Luckily, the geniuses at delish have come up with a recipe for a raw cookie dough that is made with crackers instead of flour, and it tastes great.
The dough was designed to be the cookie cutter change shown in the video above, but there is no reason you can eat it yourself. To prepare the dough:
- Whisk in 1 1/2 cups butter, 1 1/2 cups brown sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add 3 1/4 cups crushed Graham crackers, 1/3 cup milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1 1/3 cups mini chocolate chips and stir to combine.
- If you plan on eating the dough by itself, refrigerate it for about an hour to “break up the Graham cracker pieces so it’s less gritty and more like classic cookie dough.”
After it’s cooled down a bit, grab a spoon and grab a bite or use it to make super decadent nonsense out of the video. To be honest, both options are good.
