Rest of the Day: Facebook Messenger Receives Group Video Chat
You can now have a group video chat with up to 50 people at the same time using only Facebook Messenger. Only six of those 50 can fit on the screen at the same time, but the rest can listen until they interfere. About this and much more in today’s news.
- Group video chat is launching today on Facebook Messenger for iOS, Android and the web. When you join the conversation, you can choose to show the camera and activate the microphone or not, and iOS users get the added benefit of silly face filters (which will eventually arrive on Android).
