The Official TWRP App Helps You Update Your Android Custom Recovery
Android: For those who have rooted their phones , custom recoveries are a godsend. Few are as useful or popular as the Team Win Recovery Project (or TWRP) and you can now download the TWRP installer directly from the Play Store.
Custom recoveries allow you to back up your phone, install custom ROMs, and perform other maintenance tasks on your system. The built-in recovery only allows you to scroll through tedious menus with the power and volume buttons, but TWRP and other recovery tools like it enable a touchscreen and make system-level tasks much easier.
The new official TWRP app allows TWRP updates, which is usually the tedious process of downloading a new version from the developer’s site and flashing it every time it comes out. While there are third-party recovery updaters out there, it’s nice to finally get them from the same people.
