Deseat.me Finds and Helps Delete Random Accounts You Are Registered With
Gmail: When you subscribe to any online service, you usually need to add an email address. If you usually use a Gmail account, Deseat.me can look at your email to find everything you signed up for and suggest ways to delete your account.
Letting a third-party app read your email is a scary proposition. This is why Deseat.me uses Google OAuth to log into Gmail, and then the app launches entirely on your computer. According to the developers, your personal data is not sent to the cloud.
This is how it works. Sign in with Google and give Deseat.me a few minutes to show you a list of all the accounts you signed up for and where you entered your Gmail address. Sort this list by two: click “add to remove queue” or “save” on any item and view the entire list. The Delete Queue list now serves as a guide for what you need to get rid of.
For some popular services, you can click the “Delete” button to go directly to the location where you can close your account. For others, you will need to go to the main site and manually delete it.
