Make a Spanish Tortilla With Potato Chips in Just Ten Minutes
Traditional Spanish tortillas usually start with potatoes that have been cooked in olive oil until tender, which can take over half an hour, but you can put one on the table in just ten minutes with kettle-cooked potato chips.
In the video above, you can walk through the entire recipe, including how to flip it over so it doesn’t fall apart, but all you need is four or five eggs and three cups of chips. Season the eggs with salt and pepper, beat until foamy, and combine with the chips until they are well coated. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet until it starts to shimmery and add the mixture of eggs and potato chips. Cook until the tortilla is solid, flip to get the other side, and then transfer to a cutting board for slicing.
