If You Haven’t Ordered Flowers for Valentine’s Day Yet, It’s Time To
If you are planning to buy flowers for Valentine’s Day , you might want to order them soon. By February 14, they will only get more expensive, and this infographic from the shopping site Brad’s Deals shows how much.
From January 4 to December 26, 2016, the site tracked prices for a dozen roses at five different popular online florists (including ProFlowers, FTD, and 1-800-Flowers). Overall, prices ranged from $ 31.58 to $ 49.98 and, unsurprisingly, peaked in February. After all, people are in no rush to order roses for Valentine’s Day in August when prices are hitting their lowest. However, from late January ($ 43.58) to the first week of February, prices rose slightly.
In fact, we already knew about this, but the data is a good reminder to place orders now so that you won’t be singled out later. It is also interesting to see how much a bouquet costs throughout the year. Check out the infographic above or follow the links for more details.
