Easily Remove Hazelnut Skins With a Cooling Pad
Hazelnuts can be a delicious nutty bite perfect for garnishing cakes, sprinkling on salads and eating without a second thought, but they can be a little painful to peel. Fortunately, Justin Chapple has a very simple method for peeling hazelnuts; you just need a cooling rack.
You can watch Justin demonstrate a neat little trick in the video above, but it’s very simple. Simply roast the hazelnuts on the cooling rack inside the rimmed baking sheet and, when they cool, simply roll them out with your hands on the rack. The skin will peel off immediately, leaving behind delicious roasted hazelnuts.
