Recomendo Sends Fun Tips and Tricks to Your Inbox
Recomendo is an email newsletter from the editors of Cool Tools filled with interesting recommendations on useful tools, interesting books, and more . And this is especially laconic.
Cool Tools is Kevin Kelly’s site that broadly recommends useful tools, from apps to websites to real mechanical tools. Their newsletter, Recomendo, launched last year, delivers six of these recommendations to your inbox once a week. I don’t have much patience for email newsletters – there are so many and often too wordy for my emaciated attention span – but Recommendo is short, charming, and to the point. Recommendations from Mark Frauenfelder , Claudia Dawson, and Kevin Kelly, as well as items you might want to see, books to read, and practical tool tips.
I don’t often write recommendations for newsletters or podcasts or anything like that (although I would definitely suggest you subscribe to the Lifehacker newsletter ), but ironically, I was flipping through old Recomendo emails looking for something to write about. It occurred to me that I probably just recommend Recomendo. This is in direct line with what a Lifehacker reader might like.
