Rainmeter 4.0 Is Now Available, Packages in New Skinning Tools
Windows: Rainmeter is undoubtedly the most popular tool for customizing the look and feel of your Windows desktop, and it hits version 4.0 with some new skinning tools.
The biggest new tool here is the shape meter . It allows you to create vector graphics by adding a whole new level of customization to buttons and skins. Apparently, they can even be animated to suit a wide variety of needs. Skinning is also a bit simplified , and a huge list of other small changes should help simplify other parts of the program. There isn’t much for users here, but the skin creators have some great new tools to play with.
