Cover Citrus Fruit With Plastic Wrap for a Wring Mess
Squeezing fresh lemon or lime juice can liven up almost any dish, but these citrus drops can get on the table and in your eyes. Luckily, Alton Brown has a clever trick to get the juice exactly where you want it; you just need a piece of plastic wrap.
The above video demonstrates an elegantly simple technique, but it really couldn’t be easier. Just cover half of the citrus with cling film, cut around the edge, squeeze out whatever you need, and – if you don’t squeeze the lemon or lime dry – put it all back in the refrigerator until you need some juice.
