Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Choose Another Topic
Good morning, friends, and welcome back to another session on topic picking forWill It Sous Vide? , a weekly column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.
The cake experiment last week turned out to be less than successful, but at least we now know the truth and the batter for the brownies will no longer be wasted in the name of sous vide cooking. But now it’s time to move on to new interesting topics. Some ideas:
- Daal: Unlike my attempt at biryani rice , I think a spicy lentil dish will work very well.
- Breakfast casserole: I can do it, no matter what you say. It’s time.
- Chicken Hearts: I’d like to see how gentle these little guys can get. (If they ever show up. I think I should call my butcher.)
As always, I am open to any suggestions, the weirder the better.
