How to Stream Super Bowl 51 Live on Any Device, Even If You Don’t Have Cable
This is Super Bowl weekend, and this is snacks, beer and, of course, football. If you don’t have a cable and want to stream the game, you might be wondering how to stream the game. Don’t worry – we’ve got you covered.
If you have a digital antenna, Fox will broadcast the game so you can tune in and watch it on TV. If you don’t, or just want to catch it on another device, here are your options.
Internet : Watch the game live on FoxSportsGo.com . You will be able to watch it from your computer or any device with a web browser, and you won’t have to sign in with any cable or satellite subscription. (You cannot watch it on your smartphone’s browser, however, as Verizon Wireless has exclusive rights to stream NFL games to smartphones during the 2016-17 season.)
Set -top boxes and Xbox: To watch videos from your set-top box or Xbox, download the Fox Sports Go mobile app, which is available on Apple TV , Roku , Google Chromecast , AndroidTV , Xbox, and Amazon FireTV .
IPad and Android tablets: You can also stream the game from your tablet. Download the Fox Sports Go app for Android , iOS , Windows and Amazon tablets .
iPhones and Android phones. Unfortunately, unless you’re a Verizon Wireless customer, you won’t be able to stream the game from your phone. If you’re a Verizon customer, stream your videos through the NFL Mobile app .
Fox TV subscribers will also be offering some of the highlights of VR gaming this year through the Fox Sports VR app. It is available on iOS , Android and works with Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard. However, you will need to log in with your credentials to access these highlights. The game kicks off at 6:30 pm ET (3:30 pm PT) on Sunday, February 5th.
