You Can Now Watch Netflix Offline on Windows
Great news if you are the type of person who just wants to relax and watch movies on your laptop while in flight. The Netflix Windows 10 app now supports offline playback, meaning you can download shows and movies and save them when you don’t have Wi-Fi.
Netflix added offline playback to its iOS and Android mobile apps last year , which was very helpful but meant you were limited to watching on your phone or tablet. (Actually, I used it the last time I was on the plane; I stuck with some special comedy plots as watching a full-length movie on my phone really didn’t feel very appealing.) But now they are bringing the same feature to the Netflix app for Windows 10. as first reported by MSPoweruser .
You can’t download any movie or show on Netflix (they’re limited by their studio licensing agreements), but there are plenty to choose from, especially Netflix originals like Stranger Things and House of Cards. So now you can boot up your laptop just in case you don’t have a decent internet service and watch it your way. An update for the Windows 10 app should be released today. You can find the free app in the Windows Store .
