Here’s How Much Amazon Has Cut Prices for Whole Foods
Today, as Amazon completed its $ 13.7 billion purchase of Whole Foods Market, the companies promised that buyers would see lower prices immediately . On Monday, we visited a Whole Foods store in California to see if they delivered – and they did.
While there wasn’t a lot of fanfare to designate a new market owner (you won’t find a cardboard image of Jeff Bezos at the entrance), shoppers were surprised to see several best-selling products drop in prices, from butter to organic grilled chicken. A group of people at the fresh food stall cackled over the new price of chicken, which is now $ 9.99, up from $ 13.99. Maybe we can still keep some of this salary.
We’ve compared prices from the weekend to today. Here are some of the savings we have saved.
