This DIY Alarm Clock Rips Off Your Sheets
Those who are asleep may need something more powerful than a regular alarm clock. Some ask you to throw them against the wall and others to roll on the floor screaming , but none of them take direct action to wake you up. Furniture maker and user Instructables 1UpLiving decided to make his alarm clock a little more functional by adding the delightful ability to literally remove the sheets from his sleeper in the morning.
To create an alarm clock out of my nightmares, 1upLiving installed a modified winch and coil under his bed to wind the duvet cover. An Arduino microprocessor, connected to his alarm clock, signaled the winch to turn when the alarm went off and slowly slid the blanket out of the bed.
You can always build your own , but you should probably try going to bed a little earlier before creating an elaborate trick designed to wake you up.
