Soon You Will Be Able to Drop Off Your Amazon Items at Kohl
The good news is that getting to Kohl’s is more convenient than getting to the delivery point: starting in October, you will be able to bring your unpackaged Amazon items to the Kohl office for free packaging and return shipping .
The program is distributed in 82 stores in Chicago and Los Angeles. There are no fees for any service, regardless of the reason for the return or lack of packaging, so you don’t have to save up boxes for 30 days just in case. Just take off your poorly fitting shirt or, unfortunately, a large kitchen gadget and off you go. You will even get a dedicated parking spot for Amazon Returns.
This is not the first collaboration between Kohl’s and our future e-commerce hosts. Ten stores (also in Chicago and Los Angeles) will offer the full Amazon smart home experience starting in October, with an integrated return service. The 1,000-square-foot space will feature products including Amazon Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets and more, allowing customers to interact with devices, talk to Amazon channel partners, and even schedule home consultations and setup appointments before inviting Alex into theirs. at home like a vampire eavesdropping.
No word on whether they’ll print your receipt for you too, or if you still have to use an office printer to do this.
