The Most Immersive Moments of an Apple Event Based on Audience Heart Rate
Apple Watch’s heart rate monitoring features were highlighted at yesterday’s event: the new watch will track more heart rate-related metrics, and Apple will partner with AmWell and Stanford to conduct medical research. But at the same time for the application of measurement pulse Cardiogram discreetly track how users reacted to today’s announcement.
Users took part in this project, so no one monitored their heart rate without their permission. Here are five highlights, based on the average heart rate of users:
- 1:20 pm as Apple prepared to announce the new Apple Watch. (76.1 beats per minute)
- 13:27 , Apple Heart Study announcement. (75.8 bpm)
- 1:33 pm when Györdre Coldback answered the phone on her Apple Watch while paddleboarding. (76.3)
- 13:42 , Apple TV 4K announcement. This was the highest average heart rate at the presentation. (78.1)
- 2:25 p.m. when FaceID (77.4 beats per minute) was announced, followed by a drop to its lowest heart rate during a session a little later when the iPhone X was billed as $ 999.
It was not overly rigorous scientific research, and Cardiogram says only 63 people participated in it. So don’t get hung up on the results; you can still decide for yourself which parts were the most exciting.
If you want to check out the heartbreaking moments for yourself, keep in mind that the official live stream is off for about three minutes; the timestamps here are in line with what live bloggers like our friends at Gizmodo have reported.
