September Money Challenge: No Spending at the Restaurant
Believe it or not, it’s time to start saving for the holidays. Gifts, travel, parties – these expenses quickly add up to you, so you want to get ready as soon as possible (which means now). To help you save money, this month we urge you to cut back on your usual spending: restaurants.
We all know restaurant spending adds up (last year was what most of you called your biggest spending), so join us this month as we try to cut our restaurant spending to zero. Yes, this is an ambitious goal, but don’t be discouraged. The idea is to get as close to zero as possible so that even if you’re wrong, you still save some money (and hopefully learn a thing or two about your habits).
At the end of the month, we’ll get back to you to see how well you did and how much you saved on the holidays (or any other goal, really). So don’t forget to save some money .
Are you in business? If so, please let us know how much you spend on restaurants on average each month. We will take this amount and compare it to your total spending at the end of the month.
