How to Start Tracking Shipping of Your IPhone X As Soon As Possible
The iPhone X is almost here, and if you did manage to pre-order the one that ships this week, your new smartphone may already be on the way. If you still don’t have a tracking number but your order is due to arrive on November 3rd, there are several ways to track it right now.
If you’re just nervous, or need a tracking number so you can change your shipping address, or if you’re concerned that Apple hasn’t provided you with the latest shipping status information, you’re not alone. On Reddit, Apple fans raised concerns about the lack of tracking information and suggested ways to find it . And on Twitter, at least a few people get nervous.

Use the UPS or FedEx website to find the tracking number for your iPhone X
If you’ve pre-ordered your iPhone X from Apple or your wireless carrier, the UPS website is your best bet. Just go to the tracking section of the site and select “Track by link”. You will need to enter the country and zip code you are shipping to. In the “Link to Send” section, enter your phone number and click the green “Track” button. If that doesn’t work, try the same thing again using your Apple order number (minus the last two digits) instead of your phone number.
FedEx has a similar solution on their website . Enter your phone number or Apple order number as the “reference number” and add the shipper’s account number if you have one.
Use an app to track your iPhone X
If you pre-ordered your iPhone from Best Buy, Gotta Be Mobile recommends using the UPS or FedEx app instead. Both apps will tell you when the package has been sent to your address. You can also use them to set a 2 hour window, which is great if you’re busy but don’t want to miss out on delivery.
To use the apps, just download them ( UPS and FedEx ) and then register your address. You should be notified as soon as your iPhone X goes on sale.
