Tell Us Your Best Las Vegas Tricks
This week in the Hack Your City section, we want your advice on visiting or living in Las Vegas. There is always more travel advice than locals in this show, and Vegas will be the epitome of that. But we’re also fascinated by the million people who live in and around the city all the time, who most of us visit to rent out, and who use it much more than an adult playground. While the city is still in many ways still recovering from the tragic shooting at a concert last month (you can find ways to donate to the victims and their families here ), many residents are also eager to return to something that resembles business as usual. and we are keen to highlight the best that the city has to offer.
As with every city we cover, we want to hear from seasoned Vegas goers about secret deals, underutilized free services, and places to avoid. We want to know how to get to Vegas cheaply, with kids or with friends. We want your favorite casinos, bars and clubs.
But we also want to hear from the residents: where do you take visitors who want to go outside the Strip? What distant places do you want to visit? Which local favorite deserves the most clients? What local laws do you like besides “legal gambling” and what concerns do you have? What do you want Vegas to be known for beyond the obvious?
