If You Exercise During Your Lunch Break, What Do You Do for Lunch?
If you have anxiety in the mornings and evenings (I’m sure you do), training with your lunch break is a convenient way to exercise. But then when do you eat? We have several strategic proposals.
I prefer to grab a late morning snack such as the Clif bar before heading out to workout. Then I have dinner at my table. There are other suggestions on this Reddit thread , and we’d love to hear yours too.
“Bring me a sandwich, eat at 10:30. The lift is from 12:00 to 13:00. I have an office job, so I can eat at any time, ”says Buttrs.
“I train at lunchtime 3 days a week. I just drink my protein shake right after “lunch,” says Subverto_.
“I just have yogurt on the table after my workout. I eat right before and right after work, so my body will cool off from it, ”says Wickedblight.
“For breakfast, I eat a box of instant oatmeal in the workplace and drink a protein shake. I have two cups of Trader Joe’s Greek yogurt for lunch when I get up and shower, ”says CaptainUltimate28.
“My wife knows. She usually eats a can of tuna at her desk when she comes back, ”says PJ_lyrics, who then defends the scandalous act of eating fish in the office.
