Your Idea Will Never Be Ready

A large source of my creative postponement stems from the belief that my idea is “just not ready yet,” as if it were a fruit ripening on a tree. But you know what? It’s buulshit.

In my free time, I write creatively – stories, scripts, TV programs, poetry, songs – but to be honest, most of this writing is just a sketch of ideas that I want to write in the future, “when I have time. … “I tell myself that these ideas still need to be“ fleshed out, ”that they are“ trickling down, ”but in fact I hope I have some kind of insight that makes the hard work easier.

In fact, epiphany rarely comes. The idea you have – yes, the one you just thought of – is ready. I look forward to starting work. He was always waiting for you. What about you? Are you ready for this wonderful idea? Maybe not, but you don’t need to. You don’t have to be a certain age, you don’t need specific credentials, you don’t need special connections, and you don’t need someone to guide you along the way. These things can help, but they don’t work for you. People say that there is a good time and place to immerse yourself in an idea, and it is: it is here and now. No “done”, this is just the beginning.

Now let me be clear about the situation. Your job will suck in the beginning. But this should be so, at least at first. Stop being afraid of being bad. The important thing is that you stop waiting and start sucking. The sooner you fail to develop your idea, the sooner you get feedback, the sooner you become better, and the sooner your idea becomes worth sharing. In fact, stop reading this and start. Currently. We both have a lot to do and little time.
