Make Wood Cinar Lemonade
Happy weekend everyone, and welcome back to Happy 3 Ingredient Hour , a weekly drinks column featuring very simple yet delicious libations. This week we are making winter-appropriate lemonade with the help of my friend Sinara.
We used to enjoy Cynar as a fizzy , but today we combine herbal, slightly bitter and vegetable amaro with sweet and tart lemonade and then fortify it with gin. While it’s true that lemonade is most commonly consumed in summer, Cynar gives it a woody flavor, making it a great cocktail even on the noisiest days. To prepare this aroma-balanced drink you will need:
- 2 1/2 ounce lemonade
- 1 ounce cinar
- 30 grams of gin, preferably with a floral flavor.
Mix everything in a cocktail shaker filled with ice (or one large cube) and shake until very cold. Strain into a glass compartment and sip.
