What to expect from Apple’s September 14 event
Apple has yet to confirm what we’ll see at Tuesday’s event, but there is a lot of speculation that the iPhone 13 will officially debut here. The new iPhone line is rumored to receive all the expected hardware upgrades – faster chipset, better camera, brighter displays. and lots of new features – but it will retain the size and design of the iPhone 12 family. Given that Apple historically announces new smartphones in September, it is likely that we will know exactly what these updates are in just a few days.
The iPhone 13 is the safest option, but if announced, there could also be rumors of AirPods 3 and Apple Watch 7 as both are expected to ship with the iPhone 13. If so, Apple is likely to want to. showcase all the new features that the next AirPods and Apple Watch can do in conjunction with the iPhone 13.
Likewise, it wouldn’t be surprising to see new iPads if Apple is ready to unveil them, as both iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will be released at the same time in the coming weeks.
Less likely – though not impossible – new Macs. We’re still waiting to see the new 16-inch MacBook Pros powered by Apple’s new chipsets from the first manufacturer, as well as the next wave of Macs with Apple’s chipset, but I bet Apple wants to bring these yet-to-be-announced computers to its own event.
Of course, this is all speculation. We might see all – or none – of these products launch on Tuesday. Luckily, whatever Apple announces, it will be easy to watch it live from just about any device you have.
