HQ Trivia Now Available for Android
If you’ve been jealous of your iPhone friend’s ability to play HQ Trivia, you’re in luck: the game officially arrived on Android devices this week.
If you’ve lived under a rock and don’t know what HQ Trivia is: App-based quiz has live quizzes where anyone with the app can answer questions.
The live host asks questions, and everyone who gets the right answers walks away with a real cash prize. The prize money varies from game to game (if no one wins, it carries over to the next game) and is split among all winners. For example, if the prize for a game was $ 1,000 and 1,000 people “won”, then each player will receive $ 1.
Last week we wrote about a workaround for early loading a game on Android. It’s now available on Google Play (much easier!), But as a beta demo. This means you may experience some hiccups as you play, but for the most part it should be pretty smooth sailing. The full legal version should be out soon.
Tonight’s game will take place at 9:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time with a $ 2,000 pot. See you there!
