What Are You Most Financially Proud Of?
Worrying about your finances can feel like a full-time job, so it is important from time to time to take time to acknowledge your accomplishments , large and small. When you reach a milestone, open a Roth IRA, or simply become more mindful of where your money is going and what you are doing to make more money – it’s important to take the time to acknowledge our monetary success before we move on to the next goal .
Personally, for me to move to New York after college and more or less keep my finances in order, I felt a lot of success. Here’s what some other LH employees said:

The financial decision I’m most proud of was when I was in my early 20s, when I invested 20% in my 401k. It was more than I thought I could afford, but part of me knew it was a magical time in my life when my expenses were relatively low and my salary (for an editor) was relatively high. This percentage lasted only a year, but the increase in my retirement account was so significant that I have since patted myself on the back for this decision.
