Place the Curtain Rod in the Shower to Dry Your Clothes
The best way to prevent unpleasant odors from your workout clothes is to rinse them immediately after you evaporate . Since you are already taking a shower, this is easy. But what to do with these wet clothes?
You can hang them on your regular curtain rod if you have one, for example, on a hanger, but then half of the drops will be on the bathroom rug. You can try slipping a sports bra over the bathtub faucet; it works fine, but then you have nowhere to put your shorts. You can take wet clothes to a suitable dryer or clothesline somewhere else, but we wash our clothes in the shower because we are lazy, or perhaps busy, or just smart. So, all these “solutions” are missing.
Instead, just grab a shower curtain bar that sticks on its own so there is nothing to install. Put it in the shower. Tie it with double curtain hooks, but do not hang curtains from the hooks. Hang up your clothes instead.
I slide the hooks onto the end of the rod that is farthest from the shower head and the water from the next shower does not interfere with them. Meanwhile, clothes drip right into the tub or shower, and you can forget about them until the next day when you are about to shower and say, “Oh! Fresh, dry clothing. I’m lucky.
