Use Alexa to Perfect Your Grilling Technique
When it comes to hamburgers and hot dogs, most of us have a good idea of how to grill them. And even if you don’t, while you pay attention to what you are doing, it is quite difficult to screw them up completely.
When it comes to some other grilled items, it can be a little tricky.
If you have a friend to grill on July 4th (or in general), Alexa can really be a pretty reliable tool in your grilling arsenal. The Grill Times and Heat Settings skill contains information on how to grill just about anything you can think of.
To use it, you first need to activate the skill on your device here .
After that, you simply tell Alexa to “Start the Grilling Guide” and then ask her how to grill vegetables, fish, or meat in front of you.
The skill gives you information about the correct grill temperature (high, low or medium), as well as whether you should put it on direct or indirect fire and how long you should probably leave it on the grill.
Depending on where your Echo device is located, you probably are not going to use it at the moment. But it can be great to ask before heading out to the grill, or ask Alexa through your cell phone when you’re outside.
