12 Bodyweight Exercises That Will Make You Stronger

Tons of home workouts swear to make you stronger, but many of them are full of empty promises. If your heart is beating out of your chest and you’ve lost count of how many tens of reps you’ve done, then what you’re doing is probably not a good strength workout.

Most of these workouts are not challenging enough as you progress through the beginner level. If you’re strong enough to squat 100 (or 200 or 300) pounds in the gym, your muscles won’t get too much trouble from air squats, no matter how many you do.

As with lifting weights in the gym , suitable complex bodyweight movements are ones that you can only sustain for a small number of reps and require you to rest before your next set. So let’s take a look at some of the steps that really fit the bill.
