How to Stream the US Open Live
The US Open tennis tournament officially kicks off Monday in New York (August 27). Serena Williams is back from maternity leave, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic have just won the Australian Open and Wimbledon respectively, and all the top tennis players are gearing up for the event.
The tournament lasts two weeks and starts every day at 11:00 am or 12:00 pm ET and continues until the end of the day, usually around 11:00 pm ET. The women’s finals will take place at 4:00 pm ET on September 8, and the men’s finals will take place at 4:00 pm ET on September 9.
The tournament will be streamed on ESPN and ESPN 2, even if you don’t have cable (or even a TV), you can also watch it on a number of streaming services.
ESPN app
You will need a cable subscription (or log in to a friend’s cable subscription) to watch the tournament through the ESPN app, but it’s available. You can also watch it (via cable) on WatchESPN.com .
All major streaming services offer access to ESPN, so if you’re already subscribed to one, you’re probably good to go. If you don’t, here’s a rundown of how much it will cost to access each one. Keep in mind that they all offer a free one week trial, so if you haven’t tried them out yet, you can catch at least a week of the tournament for free using the free trial.
