Iced Lemon Tea for Streamlined Arnold Palmer

Lemonade and iced tea are two refreshing drinks, and even more when combined. The bitterness of black tea balances out the sweetness of lemonade to create a thirst-quenching drink with a little added caffeine. The usual brewing method requires mixing the two drinks, but you can simplify the whole process by simply brewing the tea in lemonade.

You see, coffee isn’t the only cold brew. Almost any tea can be brewed by letting it brew overnight in a little water. Less tannin will be extracted, resulting in a slightly less bitter beverage. Since lemonade is composed mainly of water, you can soak it in tea bags at night to cook in place of Arnold Palmer. Simply toss a few tea bags into a large jar or pitcher and fill them with the same amount of lemonade as indicated in the packaging instructions. Let it all hang in the fridge overnight, take out the tea bags the next morning and enjoy your drink.
