One of the benefits of the Roku streaming player is that it allows users to create their own private channels, much like people can create playlists on Spotify. And like Spotify, many of these carefully curated channels are bad.
According to The Daily Dot, the main problem is that many channels are abandoned by their creators, so any recommended channel can disappear at any time. This is why there is so much to look for. General televison
There are those out there who are basically trying to provide you with basic cable by bundling free terrestrial channels from everywhere.
