Send Us Your Technical Questions
Most of you are probably aware of Tech 911 , a weekly Lifehacker column that provides answers to your most urgent (or dumbest) technical problems. Together we tackled such pressing issues as:
- Why does my computer restart when I plug in a USB device?
- Why is pornography that I’ve never searched on Google showing up in my search history?
- Why is porn mysteriously appearing on the “new” iPhone?
- Why has iCloud deleted all my photos?
- How to deal with self-directed email spam
And while it may sound like people mostly have problems with mystical porn and spam – each of them is as amazing as the other – there is still a lot that we would like to solve. This is where you come in.
Consider our post-summer call to arms: We need your questions because the technical Q&A column only works when you have both. I can’t just top A every week alone. I need this “Q” for your questions, which can range from specific problems you have with a service or product to broader category questions such as, “I want to buy a new router, but I don’t know what to get.” Or “What’s the best app for [crazy task]?” “
Write to us about your technical issues in the comments below. Or if something hits you at some crazy hour in the morning and you just need to let us know ASAP, email me: [email protected] . I will do my best to answer as much as I can over the next many, many weeks.
