How to Pre-Order the New Macbook Air and IPad Pro
Apple has just announced a set of new computers – the new iPad Pro, Mac Minis, and the new Macbook Air. (We are very excited about this last one). All of these shiny chrome devices are coming soon and hitting stores next Wednesday, November 7th. It is generally assumed that you need to wait for reviews before buying new hardware, but you may have been waiting to pick up your next tablet or laptop and want to pre-purchase it. order now.
Apple is already taking pre-orders for everything they announced today, so if you want to take it a step further, we can help you get where you want to go.
One note before we get started: pre-order now if you’d like to have your device close at hand on launch day. While none of these devices will be as popular as the new iPhone, Apple products can generally be difficult to acquire on the first day if you don’t save cash.
MacBook Air
You can pre-order the new MacBook Air from Apple’s website ; it should be delivered on November 6th. Pickup from the Apple Store is not yet available.
The new MacBook Air comes in two models, each with the same 13.3-inch form factor. The $ 1199 model with a 128GB solid state drive and the $ 1399 model with a 256GB solid state drive. Both models feature major enhancements to the new Air, including USB-C, Touch ID and Retina display, as well as upgradeable memory up to 64GB of RAM and a 1.5TB solid state drive. It is available in three colors: silver, space gray and gold.
iPad Pro
You can pre-order the new iPad Pro from Apple’s website and it should ship on November 6th. Pickup from the Apple Store is not yet available.
Like the original model, the new iPad Pro comes in two versions. The smaller version features an 11-inch display and comes in four storage sizes, from 64GB ($ 799) to 1TB ($ 1,549). The larger model has a 12.9-inch display and comes in the same four sizes, although, as you’d expect, they cost a little more. All eight versions can also be equipped to support LTE from a wireless carrier. Regardless of which iPad Pro you buy, you get a lighter tablet with a wide range of improved features, including a more powerful processor, Face ID support, and a USB-C port that replaces Lightning.
Mac mini
You can pre-order the new Mac Mini fromApple’s website and it should ship on November 6th. Pickup from the Apple Store is not yet available.
There are two versions of the new Mac Mini. The base model is powered by an 8th Gen Intel i3 quad-core processor clocked at 3.6GHz and a 128GB SSD for $ 799. The more advanced model is equipped with an 8th Gen Intel i5 6-core processor @ 3.0 GHz and a 256 GB SSD. Both models can be upgraded to 64GB of RAM, 2TB of storage and an improved Ethernet port supporting speeds of 1-10GB.
