You Can Now Take a Tour of Jay-Z and Beyoncé at the Louvre
Several weeks ago I was in Paris and visited the Louvre. For four hours, a guy named Jeremy, who has an MA in art history from some fancy university, took a small group of us to explore some of the museum’s attractions. What I didn’t realize was that if we had rescheduled our trip just a few weeks later, we could have seen the sights of the JAY-Z and Beyoncé Museum instead.
The famous couple filmed a video of their song “Apeshit” at the museum, prompting the Louvre to offer a hiking trail themed around the Apeshit where you can tour all of the artwork featured in the video and take a selfie. yourself in front of everyone. If you live in a pit and are not familiar with the video (I haven’t been), you canwatch it here .
A 90-minute guided tour is offered at the museum on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
And in fact, the duo aren’t the only musicians to have their own tour. The museum also has a website will.i.am. a tour of space , as well as a guided tour of the da Vinci code . All three “tourist routes” are independent and take about an hour and a half.
And if this all sounds a little overwhelming, I highly recommend calling Jeremy. He really knows his stuff.
