How to Watch the Apple WWDC 2018 Keynote Speech
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, also known as WWDC, officially kicks off Monday. As the name suggests, the annual conference is dedicated to developers building apps and services for things like the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac.
This means that while we’re unlikely to hear tons of new hardware announcements at this event (Apple is holding events this year for things like the iPhone), we’ll likely hear a lot about the next version of iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS. – and possibly a new Mac or iPad Pro will be introduced.
Although WWDC is a multi-day event, all “big” announcements will occur during the event’s keynote address on Monday, June 4 at 10:00 am PT (13:00 pm ET). If your invitation to this year’s conference got lost in the mail, there are a few more ways to keep an eye on everything that happens:
Broadcast from WWDC page
Apple will offer live streaming of all WWDC action on its official WWDC page, but there is one catch: you need to be on an Apple device to view it. The live broadcast can be viewed using Safari on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Other platforms may also be able to stream using the latest versions of Chrome or Firefox (MSE, H.264 and AAC required).
Apple TV
If you’re at home or near Apple TV, your presentation will also be available on Apple TV through the Events app. If you play this bad guy around 10 AM PT, you should see the keynote as a streaming option.
