Reminder: the Geminids Peak Tonight
The Geminid meteor shower has hit us over the past few days, and if you want to see it, today is the best night.
Brave the cold and watch this massive star show. The Geminids appear to come from the constellation Gemini, but they travel far across the sky. You don’t need a telescope to see them, you have enough endurance: the best showers are around 2 a.m. local time. Heat the egg juice, take it to a low-light area and let your eyes adjust. This is the perfect pre-holiday date; or just time to calmly think about the end of the year.
