Download Company of Heroes 2 for Free This Weekend
Today is Friday, almost the weekend, it’s time to download a new video game. And now there is a really good PC game available for free. To celebrate the game’s five-year anniversary, Sega is giving away Company of Heroes 2 on Steam for free all weekend and has slashed the prices of its many add-ons by 75 percent – most of which are now under $ 5.
Company of Heroes 2 is a real-time strategy game set during World War II on the eastern front – Russia against the Nazis. You deploy troops to outsmart and outsmart your opponents as you fight the harsh Russian winter. If you choose expansions, you can also play as the US and UK armies.
I would recommend going through the single player campaign to get a feel for the game before playing online. Multiplayer games from five years ago tend to be populated mostly by die-hard fans who, in other words, will kick your ass. On the other hand, perhaps with the influx of new players there will be some fresh blood.
When you download games through Steam, you will have access to both the PC and Mac version of the game, so don’t worry about that. Just make sure you get it in your account by Monday, December 10th at 10:00 AM PT when the offer ends.
