Dilute Dish Soap With Water in a Spray Bottle

Of my many shortcomings, one that should be easy to fix is that I use too much product in one sitting: lotion, shampoo, hot sauce – I always use a little more than I need, thereby losing some of it. (excess lotion is washed off) or excessively spicy food.

The solution to at least one of my problems, found on Reddit : get a cheap spray bottle from a dollar store (I bought mine from Harmon Face Values), fill it partially with dish soap and the rest with water. Shake it up. Then spray it on the dishes. They will become just as clean, and if you are like me, you are using some of the soap.

Obviously, cutting down on dish soap won’t make you rich, and that’s not the point. This is a simple and inexpensive solution to the problem that you might want to try. The thread he is at ” What $ 30 and on Items That Have Dramatically Increased the Quality of Life ,” is full of other gems.
