If you have a new puppy and are considering taking an airplane trip, you might want to look for pet nannies. Airlines have begun to ban flights of young puppies. Last person to change: United. As of Monday, United will no longer allow pets under four months old in the cabin.
The policy change affects emotional support animals, aircraft cabin pets and service animals because “animals under four months of age generally did not receive adequate vaccinations” that keep passengers and crew safe.

american airlines
The American still allows puppies in the salon. However, puppies must be eight weeks old to travel to the United States and Puerto Rico in the Americas, and 16 weeks to travel to the United States.

Southwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines currently allows pets of all ages , but they must be in the trunk that fits under the seat in front of you.
Pets are allowed on flights on a first come, first served basis; however, only six pets are allowed on one flight and only one pet per person.
Alaska Airlines / Virgin America
Alaska allows puppies, as well as cats, dogs, rabbits and poultry, to stay in the hut, but dogs and cats must be at least eight weeks old and must be “completely weaned.”
In Alaska, a maximum of five pets are allowed in the cabin, so book your tickets in advance. Your pet must also be in the carrier and remain in it throughout the flight.
The border
The Frontier allows pets of all ages to fly in the cabin, as long as they fit in the carrier and are stowed under the seat in front of you.
Pets must remain in the carrier for the duration of the flight. As with other airlines, you will need to book your dog in advance in order to secure a seat.
