What’s New on Amazon Prime Video in December 2021
Just as The Wheel of Time was the result of Jeff Bezos really, really wanting Amazon Prime Video to have a Game of Thrones of its own , the December December movie proposing To Be Ricardo (Dec 21) seems like an answer to his request. to Amazon- Producer film brings home the Academy Award for Best Actress.
This quasi-biopic about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez’s marriage that intersects with their rise to media mogul as the stars of I Love Lucy certainly seem poised to take home all the awards: its writer / director Aaron Sorkin ( four-year-old artist). (Even though I’ve read five books, I’m stuck in the middle of season one.) Harlem (December 3) is a new comedy about a group of young black singles in New York City who seem to be looking to fill the void soon. being abandoned by HBO Insecure ; the show is from Tracy Oliver, writer of Girls Trip , and the trailer looks promising:
And if all of these holiday Hallmark films set you up for new love stories, Amazon Prime Video will soon premiere (December 17) a new romance series, “ With Love, ” by Gloria Calderon Kellett (Netflix’s One Day at a Time ). Speaking of holiday movies, I can’t track down any specific details about Christmas Canceled (December 17), but I really hope this is a parody of the defunct War on Christmas and only James Woods is filming. he doesn’t know the film is a joke. Although, probably not. (Maybe Christmas said something racist on Twitter?)
