How to Play Apple Music in Any Browser

Internet: When I’m on Windows, I hate iTunes. Even when I use my MacBook, the experience is far from ideal. But what can you do? If you’ve purchased the Apple ecosystem, especially Apple Music for $ 9.99 a month, you really don’t have a choice. Right?

Recently I came across a web application musi.sh open source code , and it is I really liked it . Finally, someone has created a cute web version of Apple Music that you can listen to straight from your favorite browser instead of having to deal with iTunes at all. ( Playapplemusic.com was an option too , but this site doesn’t seem to work anymore.)

To get started, visit Musish and click “Or Just Browse” to get a feel for the web interface. When you’re ready for the real deal, click the Connect to Apple Music button to begin linking your account with the service. Your credentials should be secure as the site appears to be using Apple’s login and authentication process (and APIs) to establish a connection.

Once you are signed into your Apple account, you will see a nice web interface that looks kind of like what you would otherwise see in iTunes, only now in your browser. Since the site includes Apple’s horizontal navigation for things like playlists, songs, and albums, it’s easier for me to hold Shift and scroll up and down with my mouse wheel when I need to move from side to side rather than up and down. …

Apple Music radios are not supported yet, so hopefully the Musish developers will someday find a way to integrate them. (Don’t hold your breath, as I believe this is Apple’s problem, not Musish’s.) The site also lacks Apple Music’s social features, and I don’t believe there is a way to record heart-to-heart tracks that you enjoy. You can add songs to playlists , however, so there is this feature that I could not test on my own since I am not subscribed to Apple Music.

By the way, this site wo n’t let you do anything unless you are an Apple Music subscriber, which makes sense. Say goodbye to dreams of accessing your iTunes library from anywhere on earth (that is, without paying Apple for this privilege). If you are looking for a free way to do this, you better go for Google Play Music .
