Use Your Hand or Hand As a Tape Measure

Sometimes, as you travel the world, you may find that it would be really helpful to have a roulette wheel.
You might be like my mom who carries a soft and light tape measure like this in her purse and snatches it out every time she needs to measure a random chair cushion hanging on the wall or outdoors. Or you could be like Reddit user u / buttpuckering (we don’t distinguish usernames) and try this:
For quick reference in the future, find and measure the distance between two points on your arm / forearm to the nearest inch.
Some examples: Left hand. The middle finger is 3 inches. The tip of the little finger to the mole on the wrist is 6 inches. Index finger to forearm mole, 12 inches.
This helps when quick small measurements are needed and the ruler is not at hand.
Thanks to this advice, I now know that my middle finger to the top of my wrist is almost exactly 7 inches long, which means that I will soon (constructively) be discarding a bunch of inanimate objects.
