How to Help Mom on Mother’s Day

The International Rescue Committee posted the Gift of Salvation for Mother’s Day on its website:
Many mothers in places like Zimbabwe give birth at home, which poses a danger to them and their babies. Often they do not go to the clinic because they are embarrassed that they cannot afford baby clothes. When we offer baby kits with clothes, baby soap, diapers and other essentials, moms are more likely to go to our health centers to have a baby. These kits mean more moms will have a healthy and safe birth and everything they need to care for their precious newborns.
The $ 63 donation gives three baby kits for women in need. When placing an order, you can choose an individual printed card or an electronic card sent to your chosen laureate.
