How to Watch a Democratic Presidential Debate
Miami kicks off the second half of the 2020 Democratic presidential debate tonight – 10 candidates, including Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, former Vice President Joe Biden, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigig, will take to the stage at 9:00 p.m. Eastern European Time.
The rules are simple; each candidate will have 60 seconds to answer a question and 30 seconds to respond later. Given the sheer number of candidates, the debate will be the first opportunity for candidates to emerge from the crowded pool of presidential candidates (and the first time for many candidates to enter the national stage).
