Book Your Fall Travel Now During the Southwest Sale

Summer hasn’t officially kicked off, but that doesn’t mean you can’t count on an autumn trip. For me personally, September and October are my favorite months to travel: the weather (in most places) is bearable again and you don’t have to deal with the family crowd or high season prices. And now Southwest is running a nationwide sale to make travel even more affordable this year.

From now until 11:59 p.m. PST on June 6, you can book one-way tickets starting at $ 49 for destinations in the continental United States between August 20 and December 18, 2019. As always, keep an eye on the blackout dates; in this case, August 30, September 2, and November 22 – December 2.

You’ll also want to read everything in the small print, especially the fact that most of these sales aren’t available for Friday and Sunday travel. There are also special rules for flights to / from Puerto Rico, between the islands in Hawaii and some of their international destinations. These fares are limited, so if you’re planning a trip, book sooner rather than later.
