How to Try Out the New Apple ICloud Website (and Reminders)
The Apple Reminders app is an incredibly useful way to stay organized on iOS and macOS – available again through your web browser thanks to an updated version of Apple’s iCloud website. But you won’t see this or any other Apple changes unless you sign up for the iCloud beta.
Along with the revived reminder app, the new iCloud portal comes with an all-new interface (as well as the main iCloud apps: Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Notes, Photos, and the recently updated Find Me feature, formerly known as Find My Phone.)
Getting into the iCloud beta is easy as it is open to anyone with an Apple account. Just open beta.icloud.com and sign in. After that, you’ll be able to access all the regular iCloud apps you’re used to and (finally) be able to play around with reminders again. The changes you make will sync across any iOS or macOS device you’ve turned on iCloud, which is most likely all you have – we’re betting most people sign in to iCloud.
Apple’s beta for iCloud is expected to roll out alongside iOS 13 and macOS Catalina when both launch (likely in less than a month).
